This week was very interesting, it was the time for us to present to the class the story we were in charge of reading and analizing in order to recreate our own version of it.
All the presentation were very interesting; the fact that called the most my attention were the themes that all the stories were about. Religious beliefs, faithfulness, interest, love, friendship, and value of life. All those themes were inferred from the reading and analysis.
The one me and my two classmates were in charge of was The Knight Tale, an interesting story which talks about the war between Athens an Thebas, and how man can lose their friendship because of love. The new version of it can be founded through the next link.

Another tale that caught my attention was the one called The wife of Bath, It was about how a woman decide to get married with different men because of the money they have. The man all were submissive and stupid in love with her; however at the end she got married with a man that used to mistreat her and that was the one she fall in love with.
After seeing all the presentation, we all understood something very interesting regarding these tales and is that they all talk about topics that are actually still happening nowadays. Although this stories were written many years ago, they were actually living similar situations to the ones we can see in the present. The only difference is the context in which they all have been developed. Thus, this shows the importance of reading this literature so we can learn either from the past as from the present and be prepared to our future.
